Hunter has been waiting for this day for five months. Tonight he got to try his first slurp of rice cereal.
He literally couldn't not wait to take his next bite. He was so excited.
And this is what he thought of it!!
This is our Santa countdown. I noticed one day Santa was beautified. Haylee decided to give the big guy a new look this year. Weston said it looks like he's been to mardi gras. Despite what he looks like we are so excited that Santa is coming in 9 days!!

Gingerbread house
I am so jealous of my 3 year old! She is so talented. She sings well, dances well, she is athletic, she has an amazing imagination, she is very artsy. She can even make up an awesome story just off the top of her head, which most of her stories are pretty entertaining. I mean yes, she is 3 and so all of these things are done in 3 year old fashion but she has so many hobbies and I want to be her. Anyway here she is being artsy and decorating her gingerbread house. She had to place all of the candies just right and I think she did a fantastic job! And did I mention she is totally adorable!!

Hats
Is this not the cutest hat? I mean those big blue eyes make the hat even cuter but Weston hates this hat. I'm thinking of ordering one for Weston for Christmas so they can be twinsies. Best Christmas present ever. But seriously Hunter is the cutest little baby ever. Okay, big baby ever.

The other day was a perfect winter day. Hunter was sleeping. It was snowing outside. We had Christmas music playing, and Haylee and I decided to make gingerbread cookies. Weston's favorite. We had so much fun!! PS and yes Haylee wears this dress everyday. I don't think I would recognize her in normal clothes anymore. She always has to be wearing a princess dress.
Haylee said our prayer over dinner tonight. Her prayer went exactly like this. We are thankful for Santa, we are thankful we can sit on his lap and we love Christmas. Jesus Christ, amen. So for our fhe Weston and I decided to teach her about Baby Jesus and why we celebrate Christmas. A few weeks ago I had this same talk with her. After our very spiritual talk I asked her, so why do we celebrate Christmas? Her response, very excitedly, because we love SANTA!!!!! Okay, that went well.

Angels
Since it's still November and I haven't done a thankful post I thought today would be the perfect day to do so. I don't even know if my mom remembers but she gave me this angel that is pictured on Christmas day 7 years ago. It is my favorite gift I have ever recieved. 7 years ago today I was in a horrible car accident. I was going to school at byu and my friend had just picked me up from the sl airport. We were almost home when driving on the freeway in Orem a car switched lanes and almost hit us. My friend swerved out of the way and we went spinning out of control. The car went over the median and flipped three times landing on the other side of the freeway. We were upside down and all of the windows were shattered. I looked over at my friend and there was blood everywhere. I thought she was dead. I couldn't get out of the car. people everywhere came running to our rescue and got me out of the car. My friend was still in the car when the police and fireman came. I don't know how they even got her out. Three of the tires were off the car and stuff was everywhere. All over the freeway. When I looked at the car it was compeletly smooshed. Pretty much flat. The police said it was the worst accident they had seen in years. They also said not many people would have survived that. The freeway was closed for hours. My friend was rushed to the hospital. They had to staple her scalp shut, but she was okay which was a miracle. I remember looking at the flat, shattered, tireless car thinking how did I walk away without a single scratch? I was not even sore the next day. I did not spend one second in the hospital. I examined the car a little more and saw that the front passenger seat was the only area of the car that did not get flattened. It was like a little tent was hovering me in the seat. And that's when I knew, angels had been watching over me. So on christmas day, three weeks after the accident my mom gave me this angel. And on the back of it, it says may angels always surround you. I believe in angels and I'm so thankful for them!!! The accident was 7 years ago but I still hate driving on the freeway. It scares me. I have always believed in angels, I have a special place in my heart for them. When looking for a nativity scene for my home a couple years ago I wanted to get the perfect one. I knew I had found the one I wanted when I found this angel in the nativity. I fell in love with it. She has pink shoes and pink wings with pigtails. She reminds me so much of Haylee. I've always thought of Haylee as my little angel girl. So I have the nativity in my house and Haylee loves this little angel. She always moves the angel so it's facing baby Jesus. I always fix the angel after Haylee goes to bed so she is facing the right way, but I realized a couple days ago the angel should be facing Jesus so now I leave it. But anyway I love these two angels in my home!!

4 months
Hunter is 4 months old!!! Seriously how did that happen? It went so fast. Hunter is weighing in at a very hefty 17 lbs and is 26 inches long. Doesn't he looked thrilled to be doing a 4 month photo shoot? And just for the fun of it, why not add some Christmas ornaments to the shoot.

Christmas cards
Tis the season to start collecting addresses for Christmas cards. I know this is a totally lame way to do it but if you want a Teuscher Fam Christmas card then e-mail me your address to karen.teuscher@gmail.com or leave it in a comment. We are taking Christmas family pictures next week so there will be a picture. Woo Hoo! I can't promise we will be super cute but I can promise some of us will be wearing red. Merry Christmas!! PS. And yes I have been so enjoying all of my christmas decor in my house this week and listening to Christmas music and baking christmas cookies. I packed away my thanksgiving decor this week and my scrooge husband thinks I'm crazy. But I think he's crazy for not wanting to celebrate a little earlier than some.

I love comparing my babies. These pictures were all taken when Haylee and Hunter were both 3 1/2 months. Minus the bow and the pink can you tell who is who?

Hunter Clay
Can you believe that this adorable sweet little face by day can turn into a beast during the night? Well believe it because this sweet boy turns into a monster once the clock strikes midnight. It's a good thing he is so cute because it makes the all nighters a little easier to take.
Go to sleep Hunter Clay Teuscher!!!

Super big weekend.
Haylee is 3 and Hunter is blessed. I hesitated doing a birthday and a baby blessing in one weekend, but it was great. Haylee had a tinkerbell birthday party and all of her cousins were there. A dream come true for her. We played the old school games, hot potato, red light green light and musical chairs but those games always are fun. I can't believe Haylee is 3!!! Wow, that was a fast three years. Then Sunday the next day we blessed Hunter. Weston gave such a beautiful blessing and Hunter was so cute. We are so grateful for all the family that was there to support us for the weekend. It was a very special for us.
Mom this one is for you. Haylee was thrilled to have her very own money. It was a great way to start her birthday.
Weston surprises Haylee on her birthday in the morning with balloons. She was expecting it this year but just as excited.
Playing hot potato
The star/princess of the party.
All the girls crowded around Haylee opening presents.
And then the boys eating and being boys.
I love this picture of Weston, his dad and Hunter.
The beautiful blessing boy
Is it possible to take a decent fam picture with a 3 month old and 3 year old? I doubt it but here was our attempt.

way too many pictures
These couple of days are always pretty crazy. Weston and I have birthdays on Oct 30 and then halloween. Not to mention my nephews birthday on Fri the 29th that we celebrated. I think we are all on a major sugar high, but by now it's a crash. And we are gearing up for haylee's birthday this weekend as well as Hunter's blessing on Sun nov 7th.
Such a cute princess carving pumpkins
I don't think this birthday boy was very happy about turning this
The birthday girl and boy. Of course Weston is always trying to look like a tough guy. Well I guess he is pretty tough but his personality is lovable

We went fishing on Saturday. It was cold and we didn't catch anything, but we had fun and Haylee looked super cute with her daddy.
