No haylee......don't do it!

Do you think the massive chunk missing will grow back by Saturday? We have family pictures. Luckily Haylee and Hunter had pictures yesterday before the incident. For the fam picture on Saturday hopefully she can hide behind a cousin or something. I was trimming Hunter's hair tonight and Haylee said, "Mom, I'm good at cutting hair too." I sat her down and had the "only moms cut hair" talk. I thought I laid it into her pretty good. I guess not. As I was putting Hunter to bed, Haylee went snip snip. I didn't laugh but I didn't cry either. At least she didn't cut a braid off!

Happy 8 months Hunter!! You're the little prince around here and we love you so much! But it is 12:42 am and you are still awake crying in your bed. I can't sleep if my little ones aren't sleeping so go to sleep little prince. I'll see you in the morning.

Some pictures of me and my cutie, just because. Our life has been pretty uneventful lately. Haylee just finished up gymnastics for a little bit. We've started her in swimming lessons now. She is the most timid one in the class by far but I"m proud of her because even though she is terrified, she tries everything her teacher asks her to. She is loving her sunbeam class. I think it's so cute that I drop her off at primary every week. Primary, she is in primary!!! It makes me feel old. The last few friday nights we have been to the boise state gymnastics meets. Haylee has been able to give the gymnasts high fives and tells anyone who will listen to her that she did that. She loved going to those meets. Even Weston was getting into them. We are so ready for 70 degree weather. We've had a couple of close to 60 degree weather days where we've able to get outside but it's just a tease really because then it snowed this week. I need some stability in my life, please just be nice everyday!! Hunter is just a big smiley baby who smiles at anyone who passes his way. Really for the most part he is just very content as long as he gets some food every couple of hours. He doesn't like cheerios or sweet potatoes. What baby doesn't like cheerios? He does love eating bananas. The other day he grabbed the whole thing out of my hand and took a big bite. My teeny tiny pieces I was giving him wasn't cutting it. He loves taking baths. He splashes Haylee so much which is super funny because Haylee can't stand to get a drop of water on her face. To get back at him Haylee dumps a bucket of water over his head but he loves it. I can't believe he is almost 8 months! Next week Haylee and Hunter are getting some spring pictures taken. I'm excited for those. They are so cute together. We are headed to Oregon in a couple of weeks because my little brother is going on his mission. We are so excited for him but crazy to think we won't see him in two years. And I'm super excited to find out what my little sister is going to have in a week or so. She is pregnant with her first!! Can't wait to see her little bump. Weston is just working like crazy trying to network in the business world and I'm just trying to hold our life all together. Some days I feel so so bored. How many times do I have to play peek a boo in a day and then other days I feel like my day is over in 5 mins. Figuring out this whole parenting, adulthood thing is a lot of work. I'm just glad I get to figure it out with Weston, Haylee, and Hunter because for the most part they sure are a lot of fun.

Big Boy!!

Haylee's first pigtails were important enough to document on the blog way back when so I thought Hunter's first spike of the hair is important enough too! Weston is so excited that Hunter finally has enough hair to do this. I think Weston is living vicariously through Hunter in the hair department.
