My recipe for keeping two little kids entertained all day is doing very simple crafts with them, games, whatever. But the key for me is to keep it all very simple. We have one empty bedroom upstairs. And the kids love that room, they love it way more than the play room full of toys. So today I gave them each their own scissors and a stack of construction paper and had them go cutting crazy in the empty room. Hunter could not have been happier. And now I don't have to clean it up right away either. Just shut the door and pretend like it's not a disaster zone.
I was pretty darn impressed with Haylee's cutting skills to cut out her name all by herself.

More Love
I think I'm going to turn my milk pink everyday.
This was so much fun. I gave them each a mailbox on Feb 1st and then every morning they had to check their mail. I left them little love notes and valentine's treats. They were very sad not to be able to check their mail this morning.
I'll tell you what this kid is really starting to crack us up. He is getting very much into doing impressions of his favorite movie characters and making such funny facial expressions. He is the class clown and loves his role in our family.
What is a holiday without Haylee making cupcakes for us?? Love my little baker!!
And that's a Valentine's day wrap.

Some of our February!
My sister Sally and her little girl Claire came to visit us for a few days.It was heavenly!
We have been playing a lot of skip bo lately. It took Haylee a few times until she got it but now she normally beats us.
Haylee had to make some Valentine's for her preschool party!
Hunter was our trusted lollipop taste tester!
Haylee then had to make more valentine's for her little neighbor friends!
Of course we are always busying crafting. Aren't I lucky to have his littlecutie as my valentine??!!!
Haylee LOVES to spend time in her art studio! This is her art studio by the way. I clean this up almost daily and shortly after looks like this again. She is a very busy girl and it keeps her very occupied.
I love her artwork that she displays in her studio. The bottom picture is a calendar she made. Haylee told me she had to do this so she would know when all Holidays are.
I love holidays so I can do this to my kids' bedrooms.
I especially love being sneaky while they are sleeping!
Poor Hunty. By the time I was done in Haylee's room it was 1 am and I was too tired to do anymore.
I knew he would have so much fun storming through Haylee's maze of hearts!
On Tuesday I sent a text to Weston saying my favorite flowers are tulips. I never got a text back but this morning I was glad to see he did get my message.
The kids got hula hoops this morning. So of course we had to bust out in a hula contest. At 7 am mind you!!!
Obviously I was the clear winner but my opponents but up some good effort! Happy Valentine's Day!!
