After taking 4 sessions of level 1 swimming here we finally have Haylee swimming in a pool without clinging to my neck. She's in the deep end by herself. Deep end meaning 3 feet deep. Anything off the steps to Haylee is the deep end. Despite the fact that she is wearing arm floaties that will not even allow her face to get wet, here she is swimming by herself and we are very proud parents!!! The thing that is funny to me, is she can ago all the way underwater and even though she only stays on the steps for the most part she loves swimming and begs me to go everyday! Funny little fish!
The appropriate swimming gear for such hard core swimming
Hunter on the other hand, I can't keep out of the water. He will jump in no matter if there is anybody there to catch him or not. And he refuses to wear any flotation device or let me hold in the pool. He wants to be a fish but he will be a drowning one. Well today was a different matter. Weston couldn't get him in the pool. Maybe he is just picky about water temp. Our pool is freezing. Or he wanted to Haylee to shine today and not steal her swimming thunder. Whatever it was, he had fun!
Happy swimming this summer!!!

23 months of love
Instead of celebrating Hunter being 23 months today, I'm celebrating that I get one more month of this little cutie being 1. I feel like when they turn two I don't have a baby anymore so I'm going to cherish my baby for one more month!!
These two have so much fun together. They are two peas in a pod and just love to tease haylee and I. Weston is teaching Hunter all his tricks!!

beans, beans, and more beans
Lots of beans. I've been wanting to do this for awhile with the kids. Get lots and lots of beans and have them go crazy. I just always forget to buy bags of beans at the grocery store. One day last week I remembered. And I was so pleased with how long the kids stayed outside and played with them. They had a blast. Haylee's cousins just recently got a dog and so now Haylee takes great care of her puppy dog. She takes her on a walk almost everyday and loves to feed her. The dog's name is sparkle and Haylee loves to feed her. Sparkle loved the beans too!!

red ladies!
Why are lady bugs not scary bugs? Is it because they are called ladies? Because they are red, or because they have polka dots? For whatever reason Haylee loves them but is terrified of all other bugs. Terrified. Pretty much like me. So my kids love to explore whenever we are outside. Whether we are on walks, getting the mail, bike rides around the apartments. We always like to check everything out. Recently we discovered some plants by our pool that are covered in lady bugs. We named the area the lady bug garden. And now we go there often, to check on our ladies!

Our home!!
We moved to Spokane last November. A day or two before Thanksgiving. It was a really exciting move for us. Weston started a new job and it was Holiday time. Who doesn't love holiday time? We wanted to move here and get settled before we started house hunting. But by December we couldn't help ourselves, we were on the hunt. We have always loved looking at houses together so we couldn't wait to buy our first house. Weston had talked about building a lot in the past. I wasn't so sure. And we had no idea that Spokane is right on the border of Idaho. Another decision. Live in Washington or Idaho? Weston was pretty excited about the chance to live in Idaho so that's where we kind of headed. I was looking all over. But one day I was driving all around and I found a neighborhood I loved. It just felt right you know? And it was in Idaho. Then we found another neighborhood close by. So we had two houses we were seriously looking at. Both were going to be new builds. We went back and forth every Saturday meeting with realtors trying to decided on these two houses. I was leaning towards one, Weston towards the other. We walked the dirt of both lots, anaylzed every corner I feel like. I just couldn't make up my mind. Then we put an offer in on one. In very short that's the house we ended up buying, but not before we put an offer in on another house. In the end it all worked out perfectly and we love the house we decided on. It has been so much fun watching it all take place. So our time in Spokane will be short lived but this move will only be 20 mins away and very long term (hopefully)!!!!
Lots of iphone pictures. Ugh, I always forget my camera

Boise trip!
I love when Weston has business trips in Boise. It means I get to tag along and see my three sisters who live there. And Haylee and Hunter get to play with cousins. Lots of them. We always have a blast when we go. This trip started out with going to see the Dentist though. But it's not so bad when you have a fun dentist like this. Look at his enthusiasm. Thanks for the cleanings Uncle Chris!!
Don't our brother in laws look like they're having so much fun??
Now look at how much fun they're having?
Hunter learned to give me the thumbs up. I love how he's doing it here.
This was the sunset on the drive home just as we were pulling into coeur d'alene. I'm always sad to leave family in Boise but it's nice coming home to this!!!
