Fun Happenings in Pittsburgh
Haylee and I hanging out together at the baby shower
Cute Haylee. Notice Staci's cute blue shoe in the background next to the green balloon. Very cute shoes!
This is Haylee's friend Adalie. She is such a cute, fun little girl. And Haylee is in awe of all the fun things Adalie can do like crawl and standing up. At lunch on friday we got a cute picture of the two girls sitting in the high chairs together at the resturant. It was darling but of course I didn't have my camera. I always need to be thinking of my next post so I need to be better about pics.
The cute girls in Pittsburgh who have fun and hang out while our husbands are working so hard to support us. Shannon is the beautiful girl right in the middle in the standing up row. It was her shower and she is due June 18th. We are super excited for her.
Lydia is the artist who made the cake and diaper cake. So creative and we are all jealous of her craftiness!!

Haylee is trying to decide if she likes her swimsuit or not. We went with the surfer girl look to protect her little shoulders from getting sunburned. Later in the pool I'm pretty sure she decieded she liked her new swimsuit.

Little Princess
Haylee has become quite the little princess around our household. She has already learned the art of throwing tantrums. Whenever I take paper away from her because she is chewing and swallowing it she gets so mad at me. It's so funny to me that things around the house like markers, pens, and paper are what she would rather be playing with than toys. I keep thinking I need to buy more toys but she is more happy playing with necklaces in my jewlry box than any toy I could buy her. She is my favorite thing in the world and I wouldn't trade this little princess in for anything.

Tag, I'm It
My sister Stacey tagged me awhile ago and I'm just getting around to it. I normally don't do tags even though I love reading about other people who have been tagged. And I found out some things about my sister that I didn't know so I thought I should respond to her tagging.
What was I doing 10 years ago: I was 16 and just finishing up my sophmore year in high school. I remember prom was coming up and I went with Kimball Bowden. I can't believe I remember his last name because I barely knew him when he asked me to go. I think I was working at Haggen's grocery store at the oriental express. That job lasted all of about 3 or 4 months. Most of the workers there only spoke chinese and............ there was a communication barrier.
5 Things on my to do list: Make some phone calls regarding bills and our new address, buy a diaper disposal thing, make some copies of Amish friendship cake instructions, print off some pictures so that I can continue my scrapbook, laundry and clean the bathroom.
3 Bad Habits: Well if you asked Weston he would tell you that one of my bad habits is I have to rub my feet together at night so that I can fall asleep and lot's of time I like to play footsy with him and rub his, but I don't think of that as a bad habit. But I guess it is weird that I have to rub my feet together to fall asleep. I click my nails against my teeth and it makes a weird sound that Weston can't stand. It's funny that before I got married I didn't think I had any bad habits but now they are made known to me. I love to analyze the ends of my hair and find my split ends. I find myself doing it during church and classes(when I was in school) all the time. It helps me to focus and listen better but it looks like I'm not listening at all.
Places I've Lived: I had to copy off my sister's list. I can't remember all the places when I was little. Orange, California; Yorba Linda, CA; Placentia, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; Hillsbourgh, New Jersey; Dublin, California; Tualatin, Oregon (Love that place the best); Rexburg, Idaho; Nauvoo, Illinois; Provo, Utah; Herdon, Virginia; Eagan, Minnesota; Boise, Idaho; Canonsburg, Pennsylvania
What Would I do if I became a Millionaire: I would buy a house, a car, go on a tropical vacation for a few weeks, invest a lot of it, and start a business for Weston. I guess this is what I would do if I was a mulit-millionaire.
Jobs I've had: Haggen's grocery store, data entry at DAT Services, working in accounts receivable, shoe sales at JCPenny, Computer analyst at Pixelworks, Janitor at BYU (early monring, lasted a few weeks) Window Washer at MTC, Jewelry sales at JCPenny, Receptionist at Focus Design, security receptionist at Modus Media, Cashier at burlington coat factory, Receptionist at Community health care, Data entry at Ceridian, mom to haylee, and personal secretary to weston
Things you may not know about me: I think a lot of people know this about me but I love, love, love palm trees. I love chocolate chips and basically I eat a pack a week. Sundays are my favorite day of the week. I love the feeling of waking up to a sunday and going to church. My husband and I share a birthday. I love going for walks with Haylee and Weston. I am terrified of bees and dogs. I loved being pregnant!!! The whole thing is such a miracle to me. I love cheese but I hate cheese on my hamburgers. I love playing flag football. Intramurals are the greatest thing invented. I can't think of anything else right now.

Happy May!!!!
Ok sorry there are a million pics of Haylee. Basically this post is so that my family can see pics of her. It's so sad being so far away from them this summer, especially since my sister Katie had her little baby girl last Friday May 2nd. They named her Sadie. I can't wait to see her. She looks like a little doll from her pics. I can't believe it's already May. We have already had a lot of events this month. Weston and I celebrated our two year anniversary on May 6th!!! Yay for us, we've had a wonderful two years and I have the best husband in the world!!! We took each other shopping, weston got shoes I got an outfit and that night after a long, long day of work for Weston, we went to dinner. The only place still open that late at night was Applebees but many of you know I was very happy with that because that is my favorite place to eat. Probably my favorite part of the anniv was Weston wrote me a love note and I love when he writes to me so it was fun. That same day Haylee turned 6 months and that's a big deal to me. I just can't believe she is already 6 months. It's a little sad because she is so not a newborn anymore. She is at such a fun stage though. She is completly sitting up by herself and lunges towards her toys if they are too far away. She tries to grab everything, which I think is really fun. Ok well sometimes when I'm eathing it's not so fun but I just think it's so cute how she reaches both of her arms out. My favorite thing ever is when she reaches both of her arms out towards me. Oh my goodness it has made all those long exhausting nights of being up all night so worth it!!! Another may event is that it's weston's dad's birthday today and Haylee really wanted to wish him happy birthday along with Weston and I. And of course Sunday is Mother's Day!! And cinco de mayo was the 5th. I hope everyone celebrated. Us APX wives had quite the fiesta. Nothing beats Costco enchilladas and good company!!
