Haylee is constantly telling me she is bored. Like all day everyday. We go to story hr twice a week, gymnastics, open gym, parks, swim lessons, play dates. It's my own fault because when we moved here to Spokane I didn't get her back in preschool. But we have moved around so much, after this move I just wanted to get settled a little bit before throwing her back in something. But the past couple of months she has really been hit with the bored bug. I try to do a craft with her everyday while Hunter is sleeping and it's the highlight of her day. We always try to do something school wise too because this little smarty girl needs it and loves it. Yesterday I told her to write the whole alphabet lower and upper case. I thought it would take a good 20 mins or so if she could even write every letter. She was done in 2 mins tops, both lower and upper case. Sooo... we try to get very creative around here in our playtime so she won't be bored all the time. This was a great activity that lasted awhile. Potato sack racing! Looks like Hunter got a head start on this one.
Since we do so many crafts around here sometimes I run dry on ideas. Thank goodness for pinterest!!

Daddy!
I love watching Weston play with the kids. His wrestling, tackling, playing horsey, and piggy back rides are always so much more fun than mine. And he can make them laugh like I never can. For this, we sure love Saturdays and Sundays!!

top of the mornin to ya!
I have never been to a st patrick's day parade so when I found out they had one here in Spokane I was excited. I love parades!! And Weston has been telling me lately we need to start celebrating st patty's day more. OK, I'm all for celebrating holidays. But the parade was interesting. After an hour we had to leave. It was a little boring. There were lots of tow trucks, cement trucks, and motorcycles. It was fun, just because I love doing things as a family but I'd have to say 4th of July parades can't be beat. This is Hunter's new thing. Always has to have his hands in his pockets. I really think this is such a guy thing.
Weston was excited to teach Hunter the ways of the Irish (Weston served his mission in Ireland)
There are so many dog clubs in Spokane and they came out in full force to march in the parade. Way too many dogs in one place for me but it got the kids excited.
We went to the parade with some friends and the night before they told us they give out tons of candy. We came prepared with our candy bags but much to our dismay they were super stingy with the candy. Boo!!!
Hunter was thrilled with his few pieces though.
More dogs of course!
Seriously this dog was Huge!! HUGE!!!!
What???!!! Yes, who doesn't love Santa in a St Patty's Day Parade?? So Random. We decided to call it a day and end our St Patrick's Day Parade with Santa. We saw so many more cement trucks covered with green crete paper headed our way and we were hungry for lunch so we were out. Hope you all had a good green day!!

Catch up
We've been busy lately. Who hasn't, right? We've been lucky enough to have some visitors. My mom came out for a few days and then a couple of weeks later my sister, Stacey came out to see us. It was so much fun having some company. In another couple of weeks my other sister, Molly is coming with her four cutie boys. We are excited for that. Here are some pics of our last few weeks. We went bowling with some friends and Haylee and Hunter loved throwing the ball down with their dad!
Hunter just loved to run down the ally
We went to a children's museum in downtown spokane. Haylee loved driving the plasma car around a little city.
We bought two fish. Hunter loves pointing to them and saying ish, ish, ish. Sadly one only survived 5 days. What do I do wrong? I feed it, stare at them, and even tap my finger on their tank to say hi.
At Haylee's gymnastics they have a theme every class. Today it was a swimming theme. We decided to carry it further and turn our family room into a beach. Best thing I have ever done as a mom. This kept the kids happy for 3 hours. 3 HOURS!! Awesome
We laid out our beach towels, threw on our suits and wha laa...... you have a beach! (I did not throw on my suit)
We even had a sand volleyball game.
I admit little girl clothes are way way way cuter than little boy clothes. I mean hands down no competition. But I positively think that little boys are so much cuter than little girls in their swim suits. As adorable as girl swimsuits are, there is nothing cuter to me than a little one year old boy walking around in his swim trunks. Adorable!!!
Me just relaxing in my beach lounge chair. Unfortunately I didn't get a pedi for this beach trip.
Hunter was a little scared to jump into the water. Luckily his awesome big sister was there to help him out.
Happy beach day!!
