Some of our June

I wish I could say that our summer was going to be filled with lavish vacations, romantic getaways, and exciting trips but truthfully we don't have any plans for that. We are just staying here and enjoying our little bundles of cuteness. And we are having a blast. And staying pretty busy with our little activities. We having been making tons of smoothies this summer. It's the only way Hunter will eat anything healthy and he loves loading them up with fresh fruit!!
This activity was the best ever. Black paper, and wet chalk. Kept us busy for a full afternoon!!
Here are our masterpieces!!
We are lucky to have an ironman right in the city where we live. The athletes take over our town for a few days and it's so much fun. It was amazing to watch some of the racing. Truly inspiring and it's even a little emotional watching them cross the finish line. I'm so proud of these complete strangers as they finish and some of them collapse!
Haylee was their number one cheerleader. For being a stranger anyway. She stood at the finish line cheering them on louder than anybody. And although most of them were too tired to give high fives, a select few did and she was thrilled to be able to give them high fives.
The race started at 6:30 am. They have until midnight to finish. If they finish after midnight they are not considered ironmen. 8 racers finished after mignight. To me they are the true ironmen. Pushing their bodies to the extreme for 17 straight hrs. Truly amazing and insane. And very intriguing to watch.

Father's Day

The very first night we had Haylee home from the hospital with us she of course wouldn't sleep. We set up a little bed for her on the floor in our bedroom. I don't even think we had a pack in play yet. I woke up the next morning after a couple of hrs asleep to find Weston sleeping on the floor next to her. He had been there all night. Thats when I knew he was going to be the best daddy in the world.

And now he is their hero. Especially when they are too tired to walk anymore. He is our superman. Thanks for all you do Weston!! We love you!!

A Story to Tell

One day Haylee got a new bike and she was very very happy about it!!! The poor little brother was very very sad about it so he got a new skateboard instead. But then I decided to stick him on Haylee's old bike just for fun. 20 mins later and he was crusing around with no problem at all. Who needs training wheels?? Apparently not Hunter. And then we were all happy again. Kind of. Haylee had something in her eye. I have a zit on my head and Hunter has half eyes. And now Hunter is asking for a new bike so he doesn't have to ride a girl bike. It's actually more Weston asking for Hunter to have a new bike. The end.

Hunty Boy

I'll admit it, and I'm sure I have before on my blog. Before I had kids I wanted all girls. After I had Haylee I still wanted all girls. Then Heavenly Father gave me Hunter. Luckily he sent me the coolest little boy he had up in heaven. Oh my goodness I love this little man to pieces. I literally love to snuggle up with him all day long. And I can't help but want to eat him up he is so yummy to me. Now I still want all girls plus Hunter :) His new favorite thing. Close his eyes for all pictures!!!
