Some Cuteness

My very cool sister makes these darling wreaths. I had her make me some to hang in Haylee's room. I love how they turned out. So adorable.

Another thing I'm loving in my home right now. My kissing ball!! And the super festive sign above it. What happens under the mistletoe stays under the mistletoe. Love it!!! If you make your way over to my house this holiday season you'll get a big smooch. More than likely from my kids. They stand under it nearly all day!!

Thanksgiving in boise

we went to Boise for thanksgiving to visit my three sisters who live there and another sister flew in. I love going to Boise and seeing my family so we had a great time. The first thing we did was go to the festival of trees in downtown Boise. I love this festival. There are so many fun activities for the kids to do. Almost all the cousins were there.

I loved these elves at the entrance of the north pole to see Santa. I especially love their ears.

Hunter was not scared of Santa at all this year. He couldn't wait to go jump up on his lap. He told him he wanted a car. Haylee is asking for a clock. I think Santa can manage a clock this year. Hopefully Hunter wants a toy car.

When all the cousins were done telling Santa what he wanted he said, "I'll do my best but I make no guarantees." What????? I thought Santa could do anything. I let him know I was a little disappointed.

Ok, time for the feast. My sister is an amazing cook and awesome at hosting parties. So I was super excited to go to her house for Thanksgiving. She did not disappoint. It was so fun eating at her beautiful table.

We did so many fun things, crazy target shopping when the doors opened at 9pm, mall shopping, eating out, playing games, lots and lots of talking, and not nearly enough sleeping, we saw breaking dawn, which I loved, loved, loved. We even threw in some family pictures, which went a different direction than I had in my mind, but they still turned out cute. We finished the weekend off with the kids getting their Christmas jammies. I can't believe Thanksgiving is over. I was looking forward to this weekend for so long. I love spending time with my sisters. Now onto the craziness of December.

Straight out of the mouths of babes, I did no coaching on what they were grateful for. I was impressed with Haylee's list. She is thankful for her house, flowers, her family, mommy, her friends, her bike, Jesus, her clothes, grandma, and snow.

Here is Hunter's list. I love it! I said Hunter, what are thankful for? He said eating, blue, my blue bike, my bike, and binks, which is what we call his binky.

Haylee had to complete her turkey with illustrations. Gobble, gobble!!! We have a lot to be thankful for around here!

the past week

Weston and I celebrated our birthday the day before Halloween. It's always fun to get double the birthday cards in the mail

I couldn't get a good picture of Hunter. He was too busy so this one kind of explains his night pretty well. Halloween night was such a good one weather wise. It was not even cold outside, which was wonderful. The kids on the other hand were a different story. Hunter was in his spiderman attire all day long. Then when it was time for trick or treating he refused to wear his costume and was rolling around on the ground crying. Haylee then said she just wanted to stay home and pass out candy. I don't force my kids to go trick or treating but I wanted her to hit up a few houses. So we forced our child to go trick or treating. We made it out the door with two crying children. Haylee was then extremely picky about the houses we went to. One looked too scary, the other had a dog, she didn't want to walk anymore. I ditched this fun family of mine to go home and hand out candy. Weston stayed out with them for half hour. Then I took them out and they had a good time. Haylee found one of her friends in the neighborhood and then she was having a blast. Hunter wanted candy but not in his pumpkin bucket. So I was walking around with pockets full of his candy. For the last hour of Halloween Haylee had so much fun handing out candy. She would comment on their costumes, tell them how many pieces to pick, and say have a good night. It was adorable.

That weekend we celebrated Haylee's birthday (a couple of days early) My sister and two of her kids who are the same ages as my kids came for the weekend. Haylee and Sadie have so much fun together and we are so happy they came!!

Today on her birthday, it started out with her ballons from dad! Then we are voting, going out for cupcakes, and going to the eye doctor! Happy birthday Haylee!! We love you to pieces and are so excited for you to be 5!!
