12 months later

Her favorite place to take a nap at a few weeks old. 12 months later..................

Her favorite place to watch a movie.

We pulled this out to pack away and Haylee discovered that it's her new favorite thing to play with. She'll sit in it, bounce up an down and climb all over it. She's gotten thrown out of it a couple times while bouncing a little to high. I guess we should have wrapped this and given it to her for her birthday. Her Birthday toys are already not exciting to her anymore. Like my sister Katie always says, I guess I bought them for her little friends that will come over and my visiting teacher's kids.

Need a cleaning?

With a dental hygiene student around, this is what happens when you say you have a popcorn kernal stuck between your teeth. My sister Stacey is going to school and I'm amazed at what they have to do to each other. Not only do they get worked on by other students but next year they have to practice giving each other shots. Yikes!!!

I need addresses to send christmas cards so leave them in a comment or you can email me Krnwiz@juno.com It seems funny to send christmas cards when we all keep up with each other through blogging but I still love to send and receive them. Birthday Princess

Forget the cupcake, she just loaded up on frosting

Haylee woke up on her birthday and just couldn't believe there were balloons for her to play with. She had so much fun with them all day.

Labor Day

I know most mom's look forward to their babies birthdays more than thinking about being in labor but I went into labor with Haylee November 5th, 2007 and it's been a day I have thought about ever since. I'm confessing one of my weird quirks. I am obsessed with labor. I love it. I love hearing about everyone's labor stories, I love watching tv shows about it, (especially a baby story), I love reading about it and I loved being in labor. Totally weird, I know. I remember everyone telling me, you won't love it as much after going through it, but I love it more. I loved every minute of it. I realize I have only been in labor once and I had an epidural so I don't know all the pains that accompany a baby being born, but I did suffer through many contractions before my epidural. I can remember walking the halls of the hospital and thinking I"m going to die and I'm not going to make it through. Another time walking the halls a MALE doctor came up to me and said you're almost there, only a few more hours. I wanted to rip his head off! But through that I loved the feeling that my body is in complete control and knows what to do. I just think labor is the most miraculous thing and such a gift from Heavenly Father. I remember last nov 5th so vividly. I woke up and was so mad that I didn't have the baby the night before. I was so mad that Weston came home for lunch with flowers to cheer me up. Then I went to get my haircut and go shopping. I remember talking to my mom on the phone and telling her that the baby is not coming for a long time and I'm never going to go into labor. An hour after I hung up with her and I started not feeling very good. I lost my appetite completly and just felt yucky. I went to work out with weston and he asked me why I was walking so slow on the treadmill. I remember telling him I don't know I don't feel good. It didn't even occur to me I might be in labor. I remember reading scriptures that night with Weston and I stopped and gripped the table during a contraction, but still didn't occur to me, I"m in labor. I remember Weston forcing me to pack my bags for the hospital and me telling him I'm fine, this isn't it. Then a contraction hit again and me screaming this is it, lets GO! And then my life changed forever! Happy Labor Day to me.

Birthday fun and Halloween

On October 30th Weston and I both celebrated our birthdays! Weston turned 28 and I turned 27. Now that we are both in our upper 20's we are feeling pretty old. The day started out with Weston making me a wonderful breakfast. Then we hit the mall to go on a birthday shopping spree. We both always like getting new clothes on our birthday. We ate lunch at the cheesecake factory, came home for naps, and then went to my parent's house for a birthday party. My mom made my favorite meal and made an orange angel food cake. Somehow our birthday always turns into a halloween party too, which I think is great. Even though it's pretty hard for me to share my birthday it was a really fun day.
Can you guess what we wished for?

This is one of the areas where our birthday party turned into a halloween party

And now this is really halloween! Our little turtle. She's the perfect age for this because when she crawled around she really looked like a turtle

I was so excited to go trick or treating with Haylee so I could eat her candy. I just didn't know she would be so attatched to the goods she collected.

Picking out which piece to eat first

We went to a party before we took her trick or treating and there was a little dog at the house. Haylee followed the dog wherever he went so it looked so funny, a turtle chasing a dog.

Hope everyone had a good Halloween!!!
