pudding painting

These two aspiring artists decided to paint with pudding today. It wasn't long before they realized they could eat their paint......

And it really didn't take them long to ditch their paint brushes....

And it took the shortest amount of time for this little cutie of mine to splatter paint all over my walls, mirror, table, carpet, and chairs. So he was done.

It was worth the mess though, they had a blast and a successful kid activity is worth posting about because we have many that aren't as successful. PS. Successful in my book means it entertains them for a loonngg time. Haylee, in this case.

Hunter

I had to post these pictures for my own memory. I wanted to remember three things about Hunter and these pictures sum it up perfectly. Our two staple stores we go to, Freddy's and Target, Hunter always will ask for stickers. And then place them perfectly on his legs. He has to have two and they have to be on his shins. He refuses to let me take them off so they usually stay on until he has a bath. Luckily he takes lots of baths in the summer. Next thing is how much Hunter runs and loves to race. He says, One, two, three GGGOOOOOO!!! And he is off running. His favorite racing partner is Haylee. If he's not racing he is just running, and he is running fast!! Next his is new shoes. I could not get these shoes off of him. So off he went to bed in them. And the next morning I woke up to hearing Hunter say, shoes, shoes, shoes. He loves to repeat things over and over. He is one happy little guy, except his two year old tantrums but they don't last long. He gets over things fast. A welcome trait from Haylee's long drawn out dramatic tantrums.

Haylee told me, next time we go to a carnival type thingy she wants to open her own face painting booth. She has lots of ambitions in life. materials needed: clinique face lotion, play make-up brushes, willing mom and waa laa, kids are in heaven.
