One of the reasons I married this man was so that I could have a hot, big muscle man wearing a pink apron carve my pumpkins.
And he does a great job carving those stars and hearts into Haylee's and mine pumpkins.
We had two pumpkin carving parties today. We told Haylee we would carve pumpkins after church. But she just couldn't wait. So me and Haylee carved the little pumpkin. No big muscles needed for that. She was so cute carving her little pumpkin
Such a great little helper
Hunter's way of carving pumpkins was eating the pumpkin off the stem for the most part. He has a mouthful here I can tell. Hope it's healthy for him.
Have a fun Halloween tomorrow!!

The birthdays
Happy Birthday to US!!!!! Many people know I absolutely do not like sharing my birthday with my Husband. There are many things I do like sharing with him but MY day is not one of them. I guess I'm selfish that way. I thought I would start liking it more over the years but nope I still just want my birthday. So.... this year I was going to plan a really fun date for us. First I was going to drop the kids off at their cousin's house, go to dinner, go to a very scary haunted house (have to include halloween in there), and then surprise Weston and stay in a fancy hotel in downtown. Next day work out togther. (I love working out with Weston and rarely get to, so super fun treat) and then go out to breakfast at Kneaders(good thing we already worked out). Super fun right? Well Hunter and I both were sick the day of this awesome date. So didn't happen. Instead Weston spoiled me with balloons, I love balloons, flowers and some hard core cash to go shopping with. Well not super hard core but it sure made me excited. A day at the mall without kids and not hiding my new purchases from my husband but showing them off? Excellent!!!
Haylee had to pretend we shared a birthday. We almost do, her's is next week.
Me pretending like it's just my birthday
The cakes
Weston made me a super yummy grilled chicken dinner on our actual birthday and did all the dishes. He really did spoil me this year.
Wow, both in our 30's! Do we look like serious hard core middle aged adults or what?

I love a day like this
It was a perfect fall day. Windy, brisk, but oh so sunny. We had fun playing outside, going to the park and then our first round of trunk or treating. Happy Fall!! Haylee begged me to be Jasmine this year. So off we went trying to find Jasmine. I was so happy to find one that I was able to tweak a little to be 3 year old appropriate. Then everyday since she has changed her mind about what to be. Today it was tinkerbell. So we threw together what we had. I don't think it turned out bad for digging through her dress up stash and to be warm enough. It was chilly today!!

Fall
I think I could go to the pumpkin patch everyday in the fall. We love them!! We had so much fun in the hay maze. We played family hide in go seek. Boys and to find the girls. Girls had to find the boys. We were just running around hiding and giggling like school kids for a long time. It made for a great fhe. And I love watching Hunter trying to pick up every big pumpkin that he can. Have I mentioned Hunter loves to pick up and carry big things. The bigger the better. I'm not sure if he got one pumpkin off the ground but he sure had fun trying.

Fall Time!!
Weston has been out of town for work so me and the kiddos have been having fun doing all sorts of things. We went to a discovery museum with some of our cousins and the best part for Haylee was the grocery store. Hunter then got to play with Brandon, his little cousin, while the older girls were at their dance class together. Then we decided to go to Oregon to visit my parents while Weston was still away for work. Last Saturday while in Oregon it was gorgeous weather. Warm and sunny so we headed to the pumpkin patch. Haylee fed the goats, we went on slides, on a hayride, we saw a baby cow only a couple weeks old, we saw baby chicks, Haylee had her face painted, we climbed hay stacks and picked two tiny pumpkins out. Hunter loved trying to pick up all the BIG pumpkins. He loves to carry big things around, but they were a little too heavy for him to even pick up off the ground. He loved trying though.
Aunt Stacey was playing the piano on their tummy's. So cute, they were giggling so hard!!

What happened to Sept???
Wow, we sure have A LOT going on in our little lives. Especially for just being a teeny tiny family of four but we did manage to squeeze in a tea party and a Boise State football game!!! Oh how we love our Boise State Football team!! Go Broncos!! Haylee loves having tea partys almost everyday. Ever since she went to a real tea party this summer, she has to wear hats now everytime.
This little guy thought it would be funny to keep stealing my hat (well, haylee's hat that I was assigned to wear at this particular tea party).
I love a good tea party
My two football players enjoying the game together (and a man with an incredibly long beard next to them)
Do you see Haylee's Huge orange bow?? Do you see it?? Yup, I bought this all the way back in Arkansas just for Boise game days. We were waiting all summer to go to the games.
We love being surrounded by orange and blue
