It's at times like this that I wish I was a photographer. Our neighborhood is gorgeous right now. It's like a massive piece of artwork!! I'm so grateful to live in a place that truly has all 4 seasons. And so grateful to Heavenly Father for creating such a masterpiece! Hunter and I went on a fall bike ride today. I had to take lots of pictures so I can stare at them in the dead of winter and remember how beautiful fall is. Our september was horrid. Gray, freezing, very wet and depressing. I wasn't ready for weather like that. October is more than making up for it. We've had the most perfect fall days and I love every minute of it.

A little October
I just got home from my annual girls weekend with my sisters and mom. Oh it is heavenly and I have been so blessed with an amazing family. I hope you all feel the same about your families!! The family I grew up in and my family now.....truly Heavenly Father knew I needed them in my life. So grateful for them. The theme this year was shopping!! And we did shop until we dropped. It was the best and we made so many memories. I didn't take many pictures and we aren't very creative in our picture taking. Always just lined up!
We carved pumpkins with friends tonight for family home evening. We had such a fun time and now I can cross pumpkin carving off my list of things to do. The next couple of weeks are always crazy it seems like in our fam. So many birthdays, Halloween and parties. My hay looks much cuter with my kids sitting on them. Maybe I'll make them sit on my porch until after Halloween!! Happy fall, october, and HalloweenPosted by Karen at 9:34 PM 1 comments

Fall and some football!!
We love making holiday crafts around here. My favorite decorations around the house are the ones that we make together. So fun!!
Oh my lovely kids. They just have a hard time figuring out what to be for Halloween. I took Hunter to the spirit Halloween store place to pick a costume and then we would be done. He tried on everything: cowboy, woody, buzz, every super hero they have, policeman, fireman, ghost, mcqueen. He didn't want any of them. It was getting ridiculous so we left. There was a cute football costume I found online so I was excited to get him that or he could be spiderman from last year. Then we went to Walmart. Of course the costumes are right in front so we went over there for a quick peek. We just happened to find this piece of junk football costume and I was hoping he didn't see it. The one online I found was so much cuter and legit. But he did and we tried it on. He was in football 3 yr old heaven. I have never seen him so happy!!! I think he looks pretty funny in it, the foam helmet just tops it all off for me. But he wears it everyday and loves to play football in it! I've grown to love the costume because he is just so darn happy in it. I really don't even think it will last until Halloween but we'll give it a go. Weston is his favorite tackling target! They play football together every night!! Weston is usually trying to watch some real football but I'm not sure he realizes he has a superstar right in front of him!!! Hunter's tackles are getting pretty intense.Posted by Karen at 9:03 PM 2 comments

my men
I live with superman. He is so strong and muscley that he rips out of his own clothes!!! The funny thing is, he told me he ate at a place called fat burger for lunch that day.
We really miss eating lunch with Haylee but we find our own ways to still have fun!!Posted by Karen at 11:43 AM 0 comments
