Sunshine

It was so much fun one day after school last week to be able to play like this again!! I normally love love love the fall and a change of seasons but for some reason this year I'm so not ready to let go of Summer. We had one of the best summers. My kids were so happy and we just enjoyed each other so much. I feel like ever since school has started we have been stressed, tired, cranky, sick and cold. I know we'll get this routine down soon but man I sure don't like being cold. Bring me back my sunshine and warmth!!

We are super excited for a certain little fairy to make an appearance in our house for the first time tonight!!!

I've lost all control really I have. Hunter changes his outfit at least 20 times a day. No Joke. I decided to document it one day.

And back into this blue shirt.

This was all before Haylee left for the school bus at 11:15 in the morning. He and I both got sick of taking pictures so we stopped at 7 outfit changes before lunch. Don't worry, it did get up to 20 before days end and this was a good day. He kept the same shorts on for half the day. There have been some days where he must change his underwear as well. I have my days when I fight him on it and I insist that he stays in the same outfit. Those are very very LOOONNNGGGG days. Other days I have literally taken all his clothes out of him room and hid them. Those are also very long days. This is a phase I hope ends much sooner rather than later. Someday when his own child is doing this to his poor wife I will laugh but today I"m not laughing. A phase I don't want to end though is he constantly says to me, "Mama, I want you." Melts my heart.

KiNdErGarTEn!!!!

We have been waiting for this day for a long time I feel like. Like my sister Katie told me this morning, Haylee was born ready for school. So we were ready. But today for some reason I suddenly became very very unready to do this!! Haylee has to ride the bus for a whole hr, then she eats her lunch at school, goes to recess, and then into her classroom. Luckily she is only on the bus for a few minutes on the way home. Today I missed her playing smoothie store in the bathtub, shoe store in my closet, crafting with her, riding our bikes around the block, and her wakeboarding on the couch! I love her creativity and I know she'll take it with her to the classroom but I sure did miss her today. Can't she stay home forever???? No, sadly and happily she can't and I know she'll do awesome because she is awesome and here come the tears! Love her to pieces!!!!

Haylee is kind of a big deal around her!! So her being gone from 11:18 to 4:06 everyday is kind of a lot to ask for those of us left behind missing her!

one last summer night!

Oh summer sweet summer, please don't go! One of our last nights of summer we spent playing with glow sticks in the backyard. It was so much fun. We all had a blast playing different games with them. I do love fall too but nothing beats just having some fun in the backyard on warm nights!

Then we started star gazing, we saw millions and millions of stars! And then we started getting a little hyper and crazy!

And I was the only one still left gazing at stars so it was time for Bed!! Goodnight summer nights we love you and will greatly miss you!!!!!!
