On October 30th Weston and I both celebrated our birthdays! Weston turned 28 and I turned 27. Now that we are both in our upper 20's we are feeling pretty old. The day started out with Weston making me a wonderful breakfast. Then we hit the mall to go on a birthday shopping spree. We both always like getting new clothes on our birthday. We ate lunch at the cheesecake factory, came home for naps, and then went to my parent's house for a birthday party. My mom made my favorite meal and made an orange angel food cake. Somehow our birthday always turns into a halloween party too, which I think is great. Even though it's pretty hard for me to share my birthday it was a really fun day.

And now this is really halloween! Our little turtle. She's the perfect age for this because when she crawled around she really looked like a turtle
I was so excited to go trick or treating with Haylee so I could eat her candy. I just didn't know she would be so attatched to the goods she collected.

We went to a party before we took her trick or treating and there was a little dog at the house. Haylee followed the dog wherever he went so it looked so funny, a turtle chasing a dog.

Karen! I LOVE the turtle costume! Where did you get that? I bet you had so much fun watching Haylee crawl around like a little turtle. She is definitely the cutest turtle I've ever seen. And happy birthday to you guys! Can we still be friends even though I didn't call you on your birthday? And do I get points for remembering that it was your birthday? :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to both of you and Happy Halloween! My favorite is when Weston is wearing the wig and Haylee is looking at him so funny! What a cute costume! A turtle! So fun! Yes... I do remember our fabulous cake... oh.... such good memories! you, me, and Car sure had some funky roommates, huh! It looks like you guys had a great day!

That is the cutest costume! I love it! And I love your labor story....it really is the best and the most miraculous thing ever. I would definitely have to agree with you on that. Can you believe that Haylee is already 1? It goes by soooo fast! And Happy Birthday by the way to you too....where does the time go?Can you believe that our 10 year is creeping up on us so fast?
