Fourth of July
My sister Molly's family and Sally and her husband Colt came to visit for the fourth of July. The only person missing was Katie and we missed her and her family. It's like a mini reunion when 5 out of the 6 kids can get together. but they were here all week and we had so much fun. We went to the beach, parks, Enchanted Forest (an amusment park), swimming, bbqs, Haylee saw her first movie in a theater, a pancake breakfast, and of course a firework show. I barely brought my camera anywhere but here are a few pics.
We had to start the week off going to costco to feed the whole crew. Aunt Stacey contained all the kids
My mom taking the grandkids on a train ride.
It didn't go very well for Haylee
My two sisters Stacey and Sally at our 4th of July bbq (and my grandpa next to Stacey)
We had a bbq in our backyard before we went to the firework show. I was pretty impressed with how festive the whole family dressed. Everyone that is except for Weston. He decided to wear a bright green shirt all day. Luckily he is hiding behind my dad so he doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Happy Fourth of July, hope you all had some fun too!Posted by Karen at 1:07 PM 9 comments

I am the worst at taking pictures while on vacation. I never do it. But we did go to California last week to attend my cousins wedding reception and visit with some of Weston's family. It was a short trip but we had a great time.
This is what Haylee did for most of her visit. We stayed with Weston's cousins and they had the perfect size ladder for Haylee to climb on all day every day. Up and down, up and down
This is Allie, Haylee's second cousin? I don't know what the relation is but she is Weston's cousin's daughter. Anyway this girl loves the camera. Everytime I pulled it out she came right up to me and gave the best cheesy smile she could pull. She's adorablePosted by Karen at 10:57 PM 6 comments

Happy Daddy Day
Since Haylee can't blog for herself yet, I wanted to post some of my favorite pictures of Haylee with her Dad through the last 19 months (only because she has the best dad ever and she loves him so much)

I also wanted to thank my own dad for all that he has done for me. I can turn to my dad for anything and am so grateful for all the advice and counsel he has always given me. I love and respect him more than anything and I so grateful for the wonderful relationship he has with my mom and all of his kids. Also Happy Father's day to Weston's dad, Daryl. You have raised a wonderful family and I am so grateful for all that you taught Weston. He is the hardest working person I know and I realize he learned that from you. You are such a wonderful example to Weston and we are grateful for you and your love you have for the gospel and your family. Thanks Dads!!!!!Posted by Karen at 9:44 PM 4 comments
