I love my little helpers. They beg me to empty our silverware everyday! It's great
And is anybody else excited that the last day of January is tomorrow? Goodbye, just one month closer to spring!

Hunter
We were blessed with a pretty fun little guy to come to our family. And now he is already 18 months old. Happy half birthday Hunter (a few days ago). He has been so much fun to have in our family. He is one hefty little guy. He weighs 27 lbs and is about 32 inches tall? I'm not quite sure exactly how tall he is. He is wearing size 24 months clothes. He isn't saying a whole lot of words but he is loud and makes lots of grunting noises. He can say, mom, dad, ball, whoa, wow, hot, hi, off, and that's about it. He can say quack quack for duck, moo, and baa baa for sheep. He never liked to read books before but the past couple of months he LOVES to read books. He is now very into coloring and will color as long as Haylee is, which can be for hrs. He loves to take all of the lids off the markers and put them back on. He is also crazy obsessed with toothbrushes. Seriously obsessed. Most often he has two or three in his hand. He loves to watch Weston brush his teeth with his electric toothbrush. He laughs at Weston the entire time. He loves to have his face splashed in the bathtub. It makes him laugh the cutest laugh you have ever heard. He can throw a ball better than most five year olds and he loves to run and he runs FAST!! He loves, cars, trucks, airplanes, balls, animals and tools. I didn't even have to teach him any of these things. I can't believe how boy he is. The other day the snow plow was plowing our parking lot. Hunter just stood at his window watching it for 30 mins saying wow that entire time. I called haylee to come in so she could watch too. She watched it go bye once and was done. Hunter loves to jump and climb. We go to open gym at Haylee's gymnastics and he is a wild man! Hunter loves banannas! He has 2 to 4 a day. He never gets tired of them. He's a pretty good fruit eater and basically just wants to eat whatever Haylee is eating. He is a very independent eater. I think I spoon fed Haylee for 3 yrs, I'm not kidding but he has been eating with a spoon and fork for months now. And he refuses to eat in his high chair anymore. He always eats at the table with us in a big chair. He loves, loves, loves Haylee and wants to be around her all the time. He is going through kind of clingy phase with me right now. Even at home I feel like he wants me to hold him all the time. He loves his binks and blanky and is quite the snuggler when he is tired. He loves to play tackle with Weston. Anytime Weston comes home he always wants to play chase with him. They have the cutest relationship, I just love it. Oh ya, he says amen too. He is pretty good at folding his arms during the prayer. He went to Nursery for the first time a couple of weeks ago and was so thrilled to be in there with TOYS! Let's hope it continues to go well. He is taking one nap a day pretty much 2 to 3 hrs. I always know when he is up in the morning because he jumps in his bed like a trampoline and yells, "mom, mom, mom!" Very loudly until I come to get him. One of these days he is going to go jumping right out of his bed. He can get some serious air in that thing. He is such a tease. He will tease anybody like crazy and just smile about it the whole time. He is a super cutie and loves to smile at all the ladies at church. This is just so I remember how adorable my 18 month old is. We love you Hunter!!
It really is all gone bud

Snow day
We woke up to this. When I wake up to white I pretty much confine myself to the house. I'm terrified of driving in the snow. So we had a snow day. Here it is in pictures:
We started out jumping on my bed. For a long time
Then we played with the doll house.
Then we played school
Haylee loves to play church. She gives talk after talk after talk. She says tons of prayers and sings every song she can think of. And she always says she is the primary president.
Finally the kids couldn't take it anymore and we had to venture out in the cold snow. I'm great with one snow day but we have more snow today. Ugh!! Spring anyone???

riding bikes
The past couple of days it has been so nice here. Still no snow, and not only no snow but in the 50's! So yesterday I got the kids all excited to go ride bikes outside. But when we got outside it was freezing and so windy. Way too miserable to be outside. So we moved to the garage, and Haylee has been having so much fun riding her bike out there ever since. I've decided our garage is like our new basement. I just tell the kids to go out there for a couple of hours.

Christmas Vacation
I was thinking about my new year's resolutions today and one of them is going to bed earlier. Much earlier. So here I am at 12:58 am blogging. Well.... it's not the new year yet. Anyway we got back from Oregon and we had such a great Christmas!! I feel like my trip was way too fast but we are thankful to have spent the holiday with family and lots of cousins. I hope you all had a very merry Christmas too!
Haylee and her two cute cousins on the polar express train. It was so much fun. We went to the real north pole, saw the real elves and talked to the real Santa. Haylee was the perfect age for it. She just couldn't believe we really went all the way to the North pole. The train ride started out with hot chocolate, which Haylee spilled all over herself, but I enjoyed. And gingerbread cookies. Then all eyes lit up when our conductor announced we arrived at the northpole. Such fun memories!!
Me and my man ready to go on the polar express
Just me and my cute sister, Sally, holding her adorable little Claire!
Very excited when the train finally left and we were on our way to the real north pole!
It was so exciting when the real elves came onto our car on the train. They were so much fun and very delightful.
I wish you all could have heard the sounds of pure excitement, squeals, and claps as Santa came into our car of the train. Oh my goodness it was so exciting!!
I love that Haylee is giving Santa two thumbs up
This is the first time Hunter would get even remotely close to Santa. Probably because he was real!
Hunter so happy to be eating at the kid table for Christmas Eve dinner instead of a highchair. Hot dogs and cucumbers. Yummy!
Here is the real Christmas Eve dinner being enjoyed by Haylee and Weston. My mom makes the yummiest Christmas Eve dinner with such a beautifully set table. I love it!
My little nephew Brandon is a Christmas Eve baby so here he is opening his present on his first birthday. I can tell Hunter is trying to figure out how he can get his hands on that present.
And he found the perfect opportunity when Brandon wasn't looking to sneak in and finish opening his present. Little stinker!
Running down the stairs on Christmas morning about to turn the corner to see what Santa brought! I love the excitment in her face!
The beloved snow white dress she has asked about 6 different Santa's for. So relieved all the santa's came through.
Riding his new plasma car. Thanks Santa!!
I love Hunter so intent on looking at his new truck
Weston in his new boise state snuggie, throwing his bad call brick. Thanks Sal!!! What we really feel like doing is throwing our Boise state brick at the bcs voters instead! I got a new camera so this will be the last post with poor quality pictures. From here on out pure professional pictures I tell ya. Well maybe just a step up from my last camera.
Hunter playing with his new train. I love Brandon in the back just chillin on the skateboard.
He decided to take a stab at the skateboard
And finally, not happy to get dressed up, leave his toys and go to church but I thought he looked cute in his Christmas outfit anyway!
Ok, I'm off to bed. Happy New Year!!!
