A little bit of trees, and a little bit of feasting!

We put up and decorated our trees before we left for Thanksgiving. The kids and I were a little excited about that!! This year we got a new pre lit tree so I'm pretty sure Weston was excited too!

For thanksgiving we went to my parent's house in Portland. Haylee was so excited because she got to meet a new cousin for the first time. We always love when new cousins come into the family!!
My sister and her cute family
I love and appreciate Weston so much. I'm very thankful for him this Thanksgiving!!
Patiently waiting for our thanksgiving feast. Weston decided to provide some entertainment for us.
Haylee and Hunter waiting for their thanksgiving dinner. As soon as we loaded up Hunter's plate he took off. And later that night had a pb&j. Yum!
Every year the kids get to open their christmas jammies on thanksgiving. My sisters decided to join in on the fun this year. We had lots of twins this year!!
One last picture of these two cuties!

November

Our thankful leaves are up! We have had so much fun adding a new one everyday! Our list of what we are thankful for includes: Jesus, rakes, a warm house, puzzles, soccer games, fhe, the earth, food, Christmas, socks, Haylee, gloves, baths, family, book of mormon, the priesthood, friends, my green bike, and the Bishop.
Our turkey crafts are made
Our chain for going to grandma's house is getting shorter and shorter
So, we are very ready to celebrate a happy and thankful Thanksgiving!!! It has been so great and wonderful to reflect all month about all that we have and what I am thankful for! And what it really comes down to is I'm so grateful to be living my dream. Growing up, all what I wanted was my own family, my husband, my testimony, and the ability to be able to stay home and take care of it all. How lucky am I to be able to live my dream every single day! I'm so so so grateful for the blessings I have. We have trials and struggles and hard days, but what it comes down to is that I do live in a dream world.

Hula time!!

Haylee wanted to have a hula party so hula we did!! It was her first friend birthday party. I told her since she was six she could invite 6 friends. It just so happens that Haylee has six little girls the same age as her at church. They are the cutest little bunch of girls.

Hunter showing the ladies how the do the limbo!!
I'm pretty sure these girlies had a good time. The party ended with a serious game of hide n go seek. These six year olds seriously know how to hide and party. It was a blast!

Happy Happy Birthday Haylee!!!!!

I normally buy balloons at the dollar store. I specifically went to target and bought more expensive balloons so that this would not happen. Awesome! She loved it anyway! Happy 6th birthday Miss Haylee on the 6th of November!! I literally don't know how this happened. I so clearly remember the moment they placed her in my arms and we just stared at each other for the first time!! No words. My heart just swells thinking about how much I love this little person!! I am in awe of her and admire everything about her! We don't open presents until the night when we eat cake but we are allowed to open cards and she was so excited when she opened her cards full of money!!
Then first thing she wanted to call her bestie, cousin Sadie and let her know it was her birthday! They face timed for at least an hour and half. They colored together and Sadie even helped Haylee pick out her birthday outfit for school. It was kind of a weird birthday with Haylee being gone most of the day. I just wanted to party with her. She was so excited though because they announced her birthday over the intercom at school and she was looking forward to that for weeks.
Haylee is having a hula birthday party on Saturday so she wanted a palm tree cake. I have been sick for a week now with no end really in sight. Last night after going to Haylee's school for cupcakes and eating out I was feeling so sick, aches, chills, no voice, and sooo tired! This was the best cake I could pull out for my little sweets at this point! It's not even frosted on the sides.
I'm pretty sure she had a great day. Now I just have to get better to have 8 little girls at my house on Saturday to hula!!

Craziest week of the year

Wow, I'm exhausted. Monday we carved pumpkins with friends......well ours were already carved so we enjoyed their hot chocolate as they carved. Tuesday Haylee went to a friend's birthday party instead of school. Tuesday night was the ward halloween party and trunk or treat. Wed was Weston's birthday and mine! Wed night Haylee had a party at her school for the whole family. Yesterday was Halloween and we had a neighborhood chili party before going out trick or treating. Tomorrow Haylee has another friend birthday party to go to. Next week is Haylee's birthday and party which I'm planning today. In the midst of all of that Hunter was feeling really sad that our whole family was celebrating birthdays and Haylee's friends but not him. So he decided to throw himself his own party. He went all out for it and decorated my table. His main course was jello. Here's pictures of all of the above! Enjoy!

I love those beautiful Idaho sunsets in the background!
