Summer is in full swing and we have been busy. We went to silverwood before school got out and had a great time. It's our little amusement park here.
Here is Haylee and Weston on the train ride. Hunter and his little friend Brodie love to have pretend sleepovers together. They change into jammies, gather their blankies, drink milk and eat cereal together. Little cuties!! Haylee participated in her first gymnastics meet. She did amazing and we were so proud of her. Hunter has loved swimming in our little slip in slide My little baby girl who is just not that way anymore, graduated from kindergarten. I wanted to scoop her up and rock her to bed that night, and I tried but she did insist that she was big now. I love watching her do big girl stuff but hate it too, you know? Again we were so proud of her!! I love going to the Spokane temple with my kids. The scenery is beautiful and they have the most fun swings, slide, and monkey bars in a big church owned park right next to the temple. It's mostly open green space with picnic tables and it's always been pretty relaxing. Summer has already been filled with lots of play time with friends, at parks, and exploring the neighborhood I love how when Haylee was playing with her friend Jane, strawberry shortcake and spiderman were following them around everywhere. Younger siblings are the best, and so are big siblings for letting them tag along. Our painting with pudding day is always, ALWAYS a big success!!! Our summer has already been filled with lots of sports camps. My kids can't get enough of them. So fun!! Haylee tried a basketball camp. She told me the other night when she grows up she wants to be a basketball player so I'm guessing she had a good time. Or she loved being with her friends and eating popsicles at the end of every practice!! Happy summer!!Friday, June 13, 2014

My little babes
A very spontaneous mother's day photo shoot. I had to grab hunter from playing football with Weston to do this. My heart is so full today! Much more than I had anticipated. I can honestly say I'm grateful for being a mother each and every day so Mother's day is no different for me. Today it was! These two are miracles. Every child is and I'm learning that more and more! Can't we all just be more like little children? They are the best. So full of optimism and christlike love. I learn so much from my kids! I strive to be like them.
As I long to hopefully one day be able to snuggle a 3rd baby of mine I find myself squeezing these two a little tighter. I never want to let them go. I love soaking in their smells, rubbing their backs, washing their toes. I love being a mom and especially theirs! Happy Mother's Day!Posted by Karen at 8:59 PM 4 comments

Boise in the spring!
We went to Boise for a nephew's baptism, a niece's birthday, and some much needed cousin/sister time! It was perfect, as always with family!!
