The 90 day countdown!

I promised myself that with this pregnancy I would document it with pictures and keep a journal about it. I felt like I did pretty good in the beginning. I at least let my journal know I was pregnant and I took a picture at 5 weeks, 7 weeks, and 9 weeks. The problem is I looked the exact same in all three of those pictures as I did before I was pregnant. And the documentation stopped there. So here I am back in action documenting at 23 weeks or 5 months (whichever you prefer) Sorry for the thumb print at the bottom of the page. My photographer is a 4 yr old who is constantly jumping on my couch as he takes the picture and can't sit still. Ever!

Yes, it's just a hole dug out to pour the foundation but the good news is they have started. The bad news is they have just started. They said that from this point it will only take 90 days to finish. My due date is in 119 days, so the race is on. Which will be done first, the house or the baby?

2014

I always love this time of year. I like to reflect on the past year and look forward to the new year. So much hope and anticipation for what's to come. I love setting goals and I feel so renewed and fresh. So a look back at 2014 Jan: Our year started out crazy from day one. New year's Day Weston told me he had the opportunity to transfer to Texas with his current job if we wanted to. We had about a week to decide. I was totally shocked and taken aback. We had only been in our brand new home we had just built for a year and a half and Weston's job was going great. That's why a couple different offices all over the country wanted him to be transferred to their offices. The kids were happy and each had great friends at school, church, and on our street. It didn't seem right or make any sense so we declined. Haylee also that month started a hip hop dance class. We had fun playing in the snow and Hunter learned how to snowboard. Just on some little hills in our neighborhood but he was hooked. Feb: We became major seahwaks fans because they dominated in the superbowl and after trying to get pregnant for over a year now I decided maybe I should go to to dr to see if anything is wrong. Did some blood tests and everything came back normal. Advice from Dr. Keep trying. Weston's boss who works out of Seattle also contacted us and said he wanted to know if Weston wanted to be transferred there. Another decision to make. March: We surprised the kids and went to Disneyland. We had taken Haylee when was 3 and Hunter 1 so that Haylee could visit with all the princesses. Now Haylee was 6 and Hunter 4. We wanted to do all the cars stuff for Hunter. We had a great time. The kids both played soccer again and we found out Hunter loves soccer. He scored 22 goals in 5 games. He was in heaven! We really had to make a decision about moving to Seattle. And we decided not to. April: We went to Oregon for Spring break and then Boise at the end of the month for a nephews baptism. Again Weston's boss in seattle contacted us and basically this time said it's still your choice but I really really really want you to come to Seattle and we felt like it was not so much our choice anymore. And we started thinking maybe we really are suppossed to move. Texas then came back into play. They still wanted Weston too. So decisions decisions. Do we move? If so, Texas or Seattle? More testing with the dr. All tests came back just fine. Dr diagnosed me with unexplained secondary infertility. It had been a hard 18 months not being able to get pregnant. May: We celebrated our 8 year anniversary. We also took two trips to Seattle and one trip to Texas. Weston and I flew to Texas without the kids and it was a fun weekend. But also stressful trying to figure out what we should do. The thought of leaving was really really hard but at this point felt very right to do. June: We took another trip to Seattle and decided we would not move to Texas and move to Seattle. We told the kids and Haylee cried. She cried a lot and it was really really hard. She graduated from Kindergarten which made me cry. Lots of emotions. We also had a buyer interested in our house and without using realtors agreed on a price with them. Again more crying. Good news, but sad to be leaving my house I loved. We also this month tried intrauterine insemination. A very easy, non invasive, fairly cheap way to try to get pregnant. It didn't work. More crying. Haylee also had a dance recital which was so cute. Loved watching her hip hop up on stage. July: Our potential buyers back out. So we got a realtor and listed our house. It sold in 6 days. Very good news. My sister's family came for the fourth of July. The kids were in swim lessons and did great. Both were able to jump off diving board and swim to shallow end. A HUGE accomplishment for my kind of non-swimmers. Planned on moving to Seattle at the end of the month. But Surprise again!! The portland office through Weston's work called and offered him a job transfer there. We had two days to decided. Again another HUGE decision. We decided to do it! We took a quick trip to Portland to find an apartment in a hurry and while we were there celebrated Hunter's 4th birthday. August: The first day in August in the middle of all of our packing we drove again to Oregon for a Wismer family reunion. We went camping for 6 days. The day the reunion ended Weston and I drove back to Coeur d'Alene to move the first of our stuff. We drove back to Oregon with our first Uhaul. Unloaded and drove back to Coeur dAlene again to get the last of our stuff and sign closing papers on our house. It was really really sad! I'm still sad about it. We officially moved to Wilsonville, Or. We had been there a few days when Hunter got his thumb slammed in a door and his nail came off. First trip to the ER. While in the ER we got a call that the appraisal on our house got messed up and our buyers might back out. A week later We did officially close on our house. The next day I got the surprise of a life time and found out I was PREGNANT! After 25 months of trying, a full two years, how on earth in the middle of our crazy August we got pregnant I will never figure out but I have never been so happy. Best day ever!! September: I quickly got the kids registered at new schools and Haylee started first grade. Hunter started preschool for the very first time. Haylee also played on an all girls soccer team for the first time. Previously it was always mixed boys and girls so she was happy to be with all girls. And she scored a few goals which she was thrilled with. We started our house hunt. It was hard. The housing market is so very different than Idaho and truthfully I missed my old house. October: House hunting continued, not going that well. Weston and I celebrated our birthdays and lots of Halloween festivities. Started feeling not so great with this pregnancy. Tired, sick at times, and kind of yucky, Still in shock about the pregnancy and so so so excited!!! Nov: Haylee celebrated her 7th bday. Sally and her girls came to visit. And we finally found a house we loved!! We bought a lot to build the house on and we celebrated Thanksgiving!! Dec: We took a quick weekend trip to Boise so that Weston could go to a Boise state football game. We found out we are having a BOY!!!!! Lots of Christmas programs at the schools and we celebrated Christmas in Boise with the entire family. This year I could have never predicted for our family. So many surprises, emotions, hard times, and growth. It was a harder year than I wanted it to be but at the same time I felt the Lord's hand in our lives so strongly, leading and directing us. At certain times I felt him clearly steering us to where he wants us to be. Which is a really great and peaceful feeling. We are so grateful for the unity and growth our family has gone through. We are closer as a family and became closer to our Savior Jesus christ throughout the year. I have never spent so much time on my knees, pleading, begging, searching for answers, crying, and being truly grateful for things. It will be a year to remember and we are so so so excited for this upcoming year.

Christmas 2014

The kids and I flew to Boise Thursday Dec 18th. Weston drove out on Christmas Eve. Before we left that day I went to Haylee's school twice for a singing program and then her class party later in the day.

Straight from school we left for the airport. Hunter had been waiting for this moment for the past month. He was soooooo excited to finally being going to his cousins house for christmas!

In the midst of all the christmas celebrations cousin Brandon celebrated a 4th birthday with a car themed birthday party. We played red light green light, pin lightening mcqueen on the race track and car races!

The entire wismer family was able to be together this year. Two parents, six kids, 5 spouses, 13 grandkids, and 3 on the way! We had full houses and the best times. Santa made an appearance to drop off some cousins presents for the cousin gift exchange.

The annual Christmas eve program! Haylee and Sadie did the cutest number to Rudolph. They worked on it all week. Even swinging on the rings was included in their skit.

My niece Lindy and I played a few songs on the clarinet and all four of my sisters and I sang away in a manger while my brother Steven accompanied us on the Piano.

One of my best presents was one from my very own Santa. He bought me a lot to build our brand new house on!!! So excited to see those walls go up!!

But the very best present of all this year, was throughout the entire Christmas season and our week in boise, was the little baby boy I felt moving inside me everyday! So so blessed and excited for him to come to our family in 2015.

What a wonderful and amazing Christmas season we had with family, and remembering our Savior Jesus Christ! So very thankful for his birth and blessings he gives to our family!!

My kids don't like hot chocolate. Its sad really, so we enjoy nice cold chocolate milk in our christmas mugs instead. And lots of bubbles!

I keep texting Weston pictures of stuff I want for christmas. Hint, hint babe!

Lots of green and red play dough. They should make Christmas flavored kool aid so my play dough smells like the Christmas scents instead of lime.

Haylee's Christmas choir concert. She has had so much fun being in a choir and I loved watching her perform!!

Haylee named our elf Jack and Hunter named him buddy. So Jack/Buddy has been very silly this year. Haylee likes to call him a little rascal.

December!

We are in full swing Christmas mode. All what we have this year for decor is a tree and dollar store stockings. Today I noticed on our picture new testament scriptures that there is a picture of baby Jesus so we added that to our decor too and now it's complete! And it's fabulous. So much less stress. Of course I miss all my decorations but next year when we are moved into a home and have all of our stuff back we'll go crazy decorating again. This year it's so fun because Haylee cannot read enough. She reads everything so she is reading us the christmas story out of the scriptures every night. Brings such a sweet spirit into our home. And we took the kids to see the mall santa. Haylee tells me that the mall santa's are just helpers but not the real Santa. The real Santa is too busy. I told her well sometimes the real Santa has to be at the mall because the helpers are busy too. After we visited him in the mall we figured out that the real Santa is at our mall! And it was exciting!! He was totally the real deal. So so sweet with the kids and very Jolly. We went to a different mall a few days later and this one was for sure just a helper Haylee told me. I agreed with her 100%.
