moving is hard work!

A little Family history post. We are on the move again. I've lost track of how many moves this will be for us. Somewhere between 16 and 18 in 9 years. Weston and I started our marriage out driving from Portland to DC. That was our first move. From DC we moved to Rexburg then onto Minnesota. So many of our moves were because Weston sold alarms where we moved to numerous places all over the country from April until August. From minnesota we moved to Boise. In Boise Weston was doing his finance internship with Wells Fargo. We had to live with my sister for a month while we figured out a place to live. Then we moved to Pittsburgh to do alarms again. We then moved to Portland where Weston worked for New York Life. We stayed there for a year and half. A very long time for us. Weston had a job opportunity in Arizona where he moved for a month trying to figure out if that was a good path for us. We decided against it and went back to selling alarms so we moved to Missouri. After that ended in August Weston stayed in missouri to sell alarms for a couple of months. We had Haylee who was 2 and Hunter who was 4 weeks old. I had to find somewhere to live while Weston stayed in Missouri. I decided to stay with my parents for a few weeks and then head back to live with my sister in boise for a few weeks as well. Weston and I lived in Boise for a few months until it was time to sell alarms again and we moved to Arkansas. While in Arkansas we moved to another area of Arkansas. After Arkansas we moved to Boise. Before we left for Arkansas Weston had some good job interviews for medical sales jobs that we were hoping would work out after we got back. Sure enough right we when we got back from Arkansas, Weston was hired to sell dental equipment for Henry Schein Dental. The job was for Spokane. We packed up after being in Boise for two months and headed to Spokane. We house hunted and found our first dream house in Coeur D'Alene, Idaho. So moved again. We lived in our first house for 2 years. A record for us. A few offices with Henry Schein wanted Weston transfered there. We had some choices to make. Stay put, move to San Antonio, Tx or Seattle, WA. After many months and lots of praying we decided to move to Seattle, Wa. This move was tough, we had a house that we loved and had to sell and the kids were so happy there. They were involved in schools and had best friends to leave behind, but we felt it was right. Then low and behold a week before we were moving to Seattle, the Portland Henry Schein office called and wanted Weston to come there. So off to Portland. We have been here for 8 months while house hunting and building our second home. We are moving this weekend again but this time it's exciting. Our move 8 months ago was hard and we have felt in transition for a long time. We are so excited to get settled and make our new house our home again.

34 weeks!

This has been the fastest pregnancy. The trick? House hunt, then decide to build, and move in 4 weeks before your due date. I've been so pre occupied with the house that it's hard to believe I'm due in 6 weeks! All of the baby stuff has been in storage and since its been almost 5 yrs since I've had a baby I really don't even know what I have or don't have anymore. Getting anxious to move and start getting ready for our new little baby.

Skateboarding!

Lately Hunter has been getting into skateboarding. He thinks it's cool, not sure how I feel about it yet but today I convinced him to practice his tricks inside. He takes a few tumbles so I feel better about him crash landing on carpet instead of pavement. Can't believe he's only 4, he looks so big to me in all of these pictures.

Walks

The weather has been so nice pretty much since January, that I've been able to do a lot of walking outside. I've loved it and I have the perfect walking buddy! For the most part he's been so fun to have on my walks with me. He's my little explorer and points out all the worms, bees, bugs and big sticks! He loves to bring his basketball and dribble the whole way and now is pretty darn good at dribbling! There have been plenty of times when I've had to lug home his scooter because he is too tired but I love our time together outside! We also have a path we like to walk right by haylees school. I spy on her at recess and she is either being chased by boys or swinging on the monkey bars.
