The past month

this post is going to be boring because I hardly have any pictures of what we have been up to the last month. I always tell myself I'm going to take a blogging break but I never follow through because I love it too much. I was forced to take a break because our computer crashed and ever since we have had it back all of our programs have vanished. I can't even upload pictures right now. It's awful and I never want to take a blogging break ever again. Way back in August (it seems like forever ago) we went to black butte with some of our friends. It was great, we ate yummy food, went swimming, the kiddies went horse back riding, the boys golfed, the girls chatted and we went on bike rides. It was so much fun. Then Weston went to seattle for a weekend to watch a seahawks game. He hasn't stopped talking about Seattle ever since. He loved the city. And I have a big announcement!!!!!!!! I went away for the weekend without Haylee. In all of her almost two years of living I have never left her overnight. I was gone for two nights and it was fabulous. All of my sisters and my mom went to McCall, Idaho last weekend for our women's weekend and it was so much fun. We had a great time and I love being with my sisters. For pictures look at Sally and Colt's blog. We read magazines on the beach, jumped into the freezing lake, did our nails, went to lunch, shopped, watched movies, and of course talked our ears off. Weston was so nervous about having Haylee for two days that he made me lay outfits out for her while I was gone. So funny, but other than that I think they survived pretty well without me. Now that all of our summer travels are done and over we are looking forward to fall and all of the fun festivities around here. And of course we have already had so much fun watching college football. Go Boise State Broncos!!! And BYU!!!!! Today Weston is in seattle again going to a Mariners game and Saturday he is going to the Oregon Utah football game. Isn't his life so tough? Haha, just kidding, he really wishes he could go to every Boise State game! I'm pretty sure we are their number one fans living outside the state of Idaho, especially in Oregon territory. The cute kids waiting to get on their horses in black butte

August

Our August has been very busy but only with good things. First our good friend Kara came out to visit for a few days and that kicked off Haylee calling everybody she encounters Kara. Kara, whered you go? Kara where are you? Where did Kara go? Those are the questions I've been faced with ever since she left. I don't know what you did Kara but you made quite the impression, so thanks for coming we had a blast with you.

Then we were off to bear lake for Weston's highschool reunion. Unfortunately we were having too much fun to attend the official reunion but weston had fun seeing all of his buddies. My sister Sally and her husband Colt came with us. The girls hung out while the boys were off four wheeling up the mountain

This is on Weston's land his family owns and being here really brings out the man in Weston. He loves being here and getting on some machinery

Then it was our turn. We cut our ride short because there were way too many grasshoppers jumping on us. We are not outdoor girls

Then it was beach time, really what I came for

I admit it was a little cold just sitting on the beach but the water felt great and was actually warmer than I thought. Here is Sally just waiting for her crazy tube ride to start

Haylee's first boat ride. She only got scared when I fell off the tube and she didn't know where I went. Once I was back on the boat she was fine with the whole experience

Weston trying to remember if he still had what it took to wakeboard

He decided not and went to the water skis

Weston went back to Portland and I stayed in Boise for a few days so Haylee could play with her cousins and I could play with my sisters. Haylee loves her cousins to death and was so happy playing with all of them. Here are some of them enjoying some ice-cream sandwhiches
I lost track of how many popsicles Haylee devoured while we were there but that's what summer is all about. Swimming oustide and taking a break to have a popsicle. We had so much fun and I can honestly say it doesn't feel the greatest to be back. I want another vacation.

Fourth of July

My sister Molly's family and Sally and her husband Colt came to visit for the fourth of July. The only person missing was Katie and we missed her and her family. It's like a mini reunion when 5 out of the 6 kids can get together. but they were here all week and we had so much fun. We went to the beach, parks, Enchanted Forest (an amusment park), swimming, bbqs, Haylee saw her first movie in a theater, a pancake breakfast, and of course a firework show. I barely brought my camera anywhere but here are a few pics. We had to start the week off going to costco to feed the whole crew. Aunt Stacey contained all the kids

Molly, her boy matthew and Haylee going to down a slide at enchanted forrest

My mom taking the grandkids on a train ride.

It didn't go very well for Haylee

My two sisters Stacey and Sally at our 4th of July bbq (and my grandpa next to Stacey)

We had a bbq in our backyard before we went to the firework show. I was pretty impressed with how festive the whole family dressed. Everyone that is except for Weston. He decided to wear a bright green shirt all day. Luckily he is hiding behind my dad so he doesn't stick out like a sore thumb. Happy Fourth of July, hope you all had some fun too!
