Easter Sunday

A little of our Easter Sunday! I'm learning more and more that family is the most important thing. This Easter I am so so grateful for mine. I could not be more blessed to be surrounded by the family Heavenly Father has given me. Happy Easter and Spring!!

Spring all around!!

I was so excited to go home for conference weekend. Weston happened to have work there that week so it worked out perfect. I was able to go to the Portland temple visitor center for the first time. It was fun seeing the prophet so up close and playing interactive games about temples all over the world! Then we walked around the temple. A highlight for me!!

I loved walking around the portland temple. It was absouletly stunning, and beautiful. The temple was closed for Conference so there was nobody there walking around or in and out of the temple. It was so peaceful. Just my kids and my mom and dad. I had so much fun watching my kids run around and taking it all in. The spirit surrounding the temple was so strong. It was a wonderful time to be there and be grateful for our blessings, and pray and yearn for others.

On our way home we stopped at multnomah falls. Gorgeous! We had a great time in Oregon. We went to parks, fed the ducks and had a picnic, had the famous jelly bean hunt with grandma, and stayed up way too late every night eating ice cream and talking. The kids were even lucky enough to have a sleepover with Aunt Stacey and Uncle Jason. Spring was blossoming everywhere in Oregon and it was fun to see some spring!! When we got home we were so glad to have some spring weather of our own. So...... this morning we headed over to our park to have an easter egg hunt!

I said on your mark get set go and this girl took this easter egg hunt very seriously. She was off and running!!!

I hid 30 eggs. The kids found 29. We searched and searched. Number 30 didn't show up. Haylee wanted to do it again, so I hid 29 eggs all over the park again. This time we found 27!! We searched and searched even harder this time. Nothing. I didn't hide the eggs that hard. I'm pretty sure a squirrel was walking off with our easter eggs!! No one else was in sight the whole time we were there. I'm still very confused how we lost 3 eggs. But we had a great time anyway. We love spring and Easter around here!!!

Jelly beans and lollipops. This was a fun morning and now I have a fun table centerpiece for spring/Easter!! Although a certain three year old around here has a mouth full of jellybeans a little too often.

Disneyland March 2014

This is purely for our family journal. There is going to be way more pictures of disneyland than you are probably interested in. We went to Disneyland for the second time and we kind of did it wrong. Our first trip Haylee was 3 and Hunter was 1. We went for a week. It was amazing, magical, and wonderful but a little too long. This time we went Haylee is 6 and Hunter 3. We did a long weekend, thursday to Sunday and it was way too short. It made our time there a little stressful trying to jam everything in. It was still amazing, magical and wonderful but in a different way. The weather was perfect, and it was so fun seeing the pure joy in their eyes. I love making my kids happy!!!

One more plane ride to go and we are there!!!!!

I really don't know why I don't live in a palm tree state!! They make me so happy!!!!

We stayed at the disney Paradise Pier Hotel, right in the middle of the park. So so Fun!!! The kids had a blast just in the hotel. Hunter a few times during the day, (his tired moments) said he just wanted to go back to the hotel to play!!

Thanks Mickey for once again making wondeful memories for our family!! We had a great time and can't wait to come back again??!!!!
