A little journaling

Our days as of late. All the little things I like to remember amongst all the pick ups, practices, meetings, and schedules. Right now Haylee is 8 and in second grade. She weighs 47 lbs and is 48 inches tall. She is playing basketball right now and likes soccer, gymnastics and cheerleading. She has also started skiing this winter and loves it. She likes to sing, dance and draw/color/craft. She is an incredible writer and often a gets praise for her academics. She loves reading her own set of scriptures and has a wonderful testimony. Hunter is 5 and is in half day kindergarten. He weighs 46 lbs and is 44 inches tall. He is learning how to read and loves to read books about motorcycles, bmx, and superheroes. Right now he is playing basketball as well and has really thrived at soccer too. He is a natural athlete and always has a smile on his face while playing sports. He practices football everyday and can't wait to start that sport. He is also skiing but really wants to snowboard. Hunter is very happy and is always making us laugh. He is very into clothes and puts together ensembles that makes him look "cool" he changes multiple times a day. He is always the first to volunteer to say our family prayers and says very sweet things. He is my best cuddle buddy and loves big bear hugs. Hudson is 9 1/2 months and weighs 17 lbs. He is 28 inches long. He has four teeth and loves eating everything we give him. Cheese, bluberries, bananas, toast, eggs, chicken, peas, yogurt, oatmeal, whatever you hand him. He is loud. He loves to make his presence known in our family. He loves to attack Hunter and Weston. He just started army crawling tonight. I've never had an army crawler. It looks exhausting. He is happy if I'm holding him and doesn't stay happy for too long it I put him down. Not a self entertainer. He is becoming more and more smiley and a couple of times has waved to us. Still working on the that and trying to get him to clap. Weston is working for Henry Schein as a dental equipment sales rep and just bought his dream car. A truck! I was recently asked on the spot what I love most about my husband. I quickly said that he works hard. I'm grateful for that but now that I've thought about it I love about him that he is so unselfish. He always, always puts me and the kids first.  I also love that he is loyal and trustworthy.  I've never had a moment where I don't trust him and for that I am grateful. He is haylees primary teacher right now and he is a fantastic teacher. The kids LOVE him. I am tired a lot and still adjusting to three kids I feel like. We had a lot of changes all at once and I think I'm still catching up. I love taking care of my home and family. So much more than I ever knew I could. I enjoy teaching my kids about the world.  Creations, how to do well in school, sports, good manners, how to be good citizens, the gospel, about our savior! Right now I'm serving as the miamaid advisor and I love being around the youth. They are strong spirits and energetic! And that's a Teuscher Wrapsuch a cutie eating. He loves to stand here while I'm in the kitchen.
Ski school!
Love that little bum sticking up
We've been to lots of blazer games this season!!
Hunter says he wants to be a baby again because they have fun toys
Hopefully Hunter plans on sharing with Hudson. Bless Costco carts!!
Hudson does not like swings. They scare him every time.
Hunter just letting out some steam!
Getting her valentines all ready.
Checking out his valentines at his class party!
I loved what he wore to school for his party. Such a festive little guy. And he did a great job decorating his box!
Haylee has some great friends at school. They are such cute nice girls. And Hudson was the star at her class party but it was during nap time so he was fussy.
Passing out her valentines.
I just love those yummy cheeks. Not only are his eyelashes long but they curl! Dreamy!!!
Not a fan!

They ski!!

Saturday morning we got up early, loaded up and headed to the mountain. The night before we rented our skis at sports authority. Hunter for the life of him could not decide whether to ski or snowboard so after a few melt downs/tantrums he finally decided to ski.

Back to Saturday morning. It all started with a blue Popsicle. Haylee woke up with a sore throat and stuffy nose. She is dramatic so I never quite know how bad she feels or doesn't. She said she was fine to go skiing that day but I gave her a Popsicle to keep her hydrated and soothe her throat. A half hour into the car ride Haylee starts moaning and saying her stomach doesn't feel good. She gets car sick so I pulled her up to the front and got some cold air on her. It fixed the problem so I thought. 10 mins later Haylee in panic said I need to throw up. I had nothing so I grabbed my favorite blanket of hudsons to catch it. The blanket didnt do so well at catching. In the meanwhile Hudson is screaming and Hunter is saying that is disgusting, go away from me. Then Haylee coughs as more is coming and it gets on my face. Despite our rough start to the morning the kids did awesome skiing. They had a four hour class and both moved up classes pretty fast. Next week they go, their class gets to go on the chairlift so both are pretty excited about that, although Hunter did love going up the tow rope. It was fun watching them and they had a blast. Next year when Hudson is older I can't wait to go again! It's been too long.
Cutie Hudson conked out in the lodge. It's a lot of work people watching all day Joke of the day from strangers: "you should get him out there on the slopes."

Me and my boys

This school year Hunter is in AM kindergarten. Hudson and I wait for him at the bus stop everyday at noon. We are usually in the car waiting in the rain. When Haylee was in kindergarten Hunter and I would wait for her at the bus stop watching it snow. I love having my little buddies at the bus stop with me.

Hudson is starting to get really excited when the big yellow school bus pulls up. From noon until 4 when Haylee gets home it's just me and the boys. Today I attempted a twinsie photo shoot. Fail! Both weren't in the mood. But since they were matching they still looked cute.

And then we called it a day. I have had fun with my two boys this year. Next year while Hunter is in school all day we'll miss him just like we miss Haylee.

2015

The year 2015 was another big year for our family. We started out the year living in Oregon as four and ended the year in Washington being 5. I wonder if there have been any years in the last 10 that we haven't moved? Here we go, our year highlights by the month.
January: They broke ground on our new house Jan 6, 2015 and Hunter played indoor soccer. Lots of trips to Washington to check on house progress.
February: we had our annual Wismer woman's weekend where Stacey (the host that year) pampered us and we found out all five of us sisters were pregnant at the same time. I was also doing lots of volunteering at Haylees school which I loved!
March: Haylee participated in her school science fair. We spent a glorious day at the beach, we welcomed a new niece into the family, Macey Cahill. And we began packing for a move into our new house. This entire month I was growing very large and getting excited to meet baby boy.
April: we closed on our new home and moved in April 5th. Haylee started a new school, I switched doctors two days before delivery and with very open and loving arms we welcomed Hudson crew Teuscher into our family!
May: Hunter graduated from preschool and I laid low recovering from a c section. We also were excited to hear about the birth of a new nephew, Joshua evans
June: Haylee had her last day of 1st grade, Weston's parents and cousins Halee and Jaycee came to town for Hudsons baby blessing as well as Katie and Sadie.
July: Haylee participated in a cheerleading camp and got to march in a parade. Hunter celebrated his 5th birthday and had a family birthday party with a pancake dinner. On his birthday we flew to Boise to have a pool party with cousins.
August: we went to coeur dalene to spend a day at silverwood amusement park. Hunter participated in a football camp, the kids took swim lessons, and we went to the Clark county fair to watch the monster trucks and a second night to go on the rides.
September: Haylee started second grade and Hunter started kindergarten. Both Haylee and Hunter played outdoor soccer and we had lots of goal scoring!
October: Weston went on his annual hunting trip with his dad and uncle. This time brother in law Jason went too. Another new nephew was born, Bryce Darley. Weston and I celebrated our 34th and 35th birthdays. The kids started gymnastics again.
November: Haylee turned 8, got her ears pierced and had a birthday party at Michaels. We had the whole family in town for thanksgiving. Haylee was baptized on November 28th, 2015.
December: Haylee started activity days, I received a new calling in yw's (miamaid advisor) Hunter was in a basketball camp, Haylee took a cooking class, and we had a wonderful Christmas in our new house! We ended our year in Boise with Molly and Katie's family!

Christmas 2015

We had a fun filled Christmas vacation. It started out with Hunter in a two day basketball camp and Haylee taking a baking class.
We acted out the nativity with our primary class. Weston and I team teach but right after this picture I got a new calling in yw.
We had fun playing basketball with friends in our garage.
We miss our elf. He feels like a part of our family in December. He is more silly than naughty.
It so great being back in this phase. His own Christmas presents entertain him as I wrap them.
We did lots of baking this year. They are getting to be more help than a mess in the kitchen.
I can't describe to you how fun it was to have a baby in the house this Christmas!
We are all smitten by him!
Our annual Christmas Eve program.
Haylee sang jingle bell rock. Her brothers don't seem that interested but she did great! Becoming quite the singer. Hunter and Weston sang Feliz navidad. Hudson led the group in singing jingle Bells. I played a game.
Christmas morning waiting to come downstairs!!! Oh the anticipation!!!
Santa came!! Our big gift was our new trampoline. So fun!!!
My little Hunty loves doing puzzles.
I had a little luncheon/baby shower for a cousin who I adore!!
Had to squeeze in his first trailblazer game!
Then we took a road trip to Boise for New Year's Eve!
To celebrate with my family in Boise!! Lots of cousins and sisters to visit!!
And we were happy to play in snow!
Some ice hockey on the pool
And then a huge surprise! We came home to snow at our own house! So of course we haven't had school for two days!! Silly northwest!
And that's a Christmas wrap! We are so blessed! What a wonderful holiday season we had!!
