This is Joseph Smith's office in the Whitney store (the church headquarters during this time period) and this table was the original table in his office. This is the table where he received revelation for 16 sections of the Doctrine and Covenants.
We had a wonderful Sunday afternoon in Kirtland, Oh. It's just a short two hour drive from where we are living right now and it was so great to see some sites from church history. We had a really good time and it was so neat to hear some of the stories and events that took place in Kirtland. It's always amazing for me to hear what the early saints went through and how strong they were. It's always a testimony building experience to be standing in the same spots as these faithful saints. We loved it!!

What a cute family. It's always fun to see what you guys are doing. So glad you had the opportunity to go to Kirtland. I'm sure it gives you an even greater appreciation and love for the early saints of the church. I would really like to go there someday. Thank for sharing with all of us. We love you.
Yea! I love weekend trips outside of Canonsburg. Well, I love hearing about them. I haven't exactly been on one yet. Just a long extended weekend all by my lonesome. I do wish you would take a bad picture once in a while. It makes the rest of us look bad.
I feel like your family should be on a poster or something as an exmample of a perfect family. haha. Serious though, you have absolutely everything right with you guys and I am so jealous. Haylee stood in the right line in heaven to come to you and Weston. Love you guys!
Oh I am jealous! That makes me flashback to our time in Nauvoo.....we had so much fun and learned so much! I want to go back and visit too!
