Hunter would not take a nap yesterday. Would. Not. Do. It. I was so depressed about it that I decided to go out for ice cream. It reminded me so much of all of our delightful ice cream outings in Arkansas. We miss orange leaf and cherry berry.
Then we looked at the fish at a pet store. Haylee is begging me to buy her a fish. I just can't do it. Ugh! The thought of a little gold fish swimming around my house is kind of icky to me. I think gold fish have been icky ever since Weston told me when he was in high school he swallowed a live gold fish for 5 extra credit points. 
Judge Judy was on the TV. Apparently my children are fascinated by her. I thought it was a weird show to be on tv at a cute little ice cream store.

i do the same thing. if abigail wakes up early from her nap, i make sure we get out and do something fun so i don't feel bad for myself for getting the second half of nap ripped out of my hands.
and that judge judy thing is hilarious. i probably would have ask someone to change it with a "you call this an ice cream store show?!?!" ha.
They look so grown up sitting there! Too cute! I agree with the fish thing, I don't think I could ever do it.

That is a great picture of the two of them!! I need to remember to go get ice cream more when I am feeling down. You are not even an ice cream girl!
