We closed on our house a month ago today. The next day we moved into our newly constructed house. Since then we have had a few things happen. As we were moving in, our fridge just happened to put a big gash in our freshly painted brand new walls. That same day a little miss in our family got a hold of a black permanent sharpie marker, and colored on her new white window seat. A little mister was painting his nails hot pink and just thought he would dab some on our brand new carpet! NO! we don't know allow him to paint his nails. Weston and I have both been locked out. Me twice. We had the power got out for a couple of hours, we had a leaky kitchen sink, and a dead mouse placed ever so kindly on our driveway by a neighbor cat. Yes, I know, at least it was outside and dead! But really, it was gross! Not too bad for a month's worth of home ownership!! We were at least able to enjoy the empty lot next to us for a month. Today this showed up........
this might be what Hunter does for the next four months as they build a new house next to us. Whoa mom, that's a big tractor! Lots of dirt and a tractor kept him entertained like this the whole time I made dinner. It was fabulous!!

This is a fantastic post!
I can't believe how much LIFE has happened in your house. WOW!
Hope that's it for a couple more months.
Magic Eraser is great for Sharpie
Love boys, dirt, and tractors, Perfect!
Your house has truly become a home! There will be many more great memories made there!
Congrats on the new house, guess that means you're not moving for a while, huh? So nice to finally get to put roots down and spread out. Bet that's nice. Looks like we might be moving to Boise next summer... wish that's where you lived now.
Um... seriously??? That's some bad luck! Hopefully you just got all the bad things out for the whole time you'll be in your new house!! :)
Oh, those are some classic incidents. So much for sparkling new! Hunter is looking more like Haylee to me now. So cute!
Wow, what an eventful month of home ownership! Cute, Hunter is going to love all the construction!
