Day 2

The next day after my brother came home my mom put all 12 of her grandkids to work in the trenches. And they had a ball. It was a great time for us moms to hide all the jellybeans in the house for the famous jellybean hunt. My mom used to do this for us kids all growing up. The tradition has carried onto the grandkids. There was also plenty playing outside all throughout the week too. We really lucked out for Oregon with perfect sunny weather in the 70's all week. Uncle Chris had most of the kids lined up playing some sort of tickle game with them. Always so much fun going on with so many uncles around. Later that day we had a celebration in honor of my grandpa turning 90 this year. Since we were all together we took advantage and had a party for him. We played a jeopardy game all about his life. I'm so grateful for the wonderful life he as lived and hope to be able to celebrate his 100th birthday with him as well.
