I was excited to go to church in Hawaii. I love going to church in other parts of the country. Someday I would love to go in other parts of the world! It's always amazing to me how the spirit is so felt so strongly in different wards you attend. It was a beautiful mtg and they do say aloha all the time.
Some of our friends from Coeur D'Alene were vacationing in Hawaii the same time as us so we met up with them to tour pearl harbor. Our boat was not able to dock at the memorial so we couldn't see much. We only could see it from the boat without stopping. Kind of a bummer but still a beautiful memorial to see and learn more about.
We then drove around the north shore. If you're choosing not to swim in the ocean on Sunday the north shore is a good beach to go to. There is no way I would have let me kids in that part of the ocean anyway. HUGE WAVES. MASSIVE! On they way back to our resort we stopped at the shops on the northshore. All three kids bought ukuleles and it was a loud car ride home. Then WEston decided to chime in and serenade me with his musical talents. I love my pretend island man!!
It's all been amazing and so dreamy so far!!
